And we’re off. Again.

1 youth minister. 1 me.

5 teenagers: 3 gals, 2 guys; 3 recent high school graduates, 2 rising seniors.

1 minivan.

A whole lot of miles.

In a little over an hour we depart from the church parking lot for youth Pilgrimage. (You can read more about it here.) We are headed eventually for San Francisco, but in the meantime we will stop in San Antonia, Carlsbad (NM), Albuquerque, Santa Fe, Flagstaff, Grand Canyon, and Big Sur. We will talk about and ponder on hospitality, mission, welcome, faith and culture, nature, service, justice, and journey. (And lots of good music, food, and laughs along the way.)

Since I won’t be taking my computer (and doing all I can to participate in the pilgrimage alongside our youth), I won’t be writing much on here over the next 10 days, but will try to post some pictures with some regularity.

If you have any suggestions of places to see and eat along the way, please let us know!
